Job summary

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS, LLC) is seeking an experienced Community Planner to support Malmstrom AFB, Montana, and to manage planning, programming, design, construction, real property, and environmental programs. You will work with CES leadership, project teams, and external partners to develop practical planning recommendations.

The role requires an active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in community planning, installation planning, engineering planning, facilities planning, land-use planning, asset management, project management, or related field.
• Knowledge of planning concepts, regulations, policies, and methods for facilities, infrastructure, land use, and installation development.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and develop practical solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and development for installation projects and asset management.
• Apply engineering and planning standards to support planning requirements.
• Assist with planning, design, project management, and inspection support for facilities and infrastructure projects.
• Collect and analyze data to support planning decisions.
• Prepare planning documents, studies, reports, and briefing materials.
• Communicate recommendations with management and stakeholders when significant resources are involved.
• Maintain organized planning records and documentation.
• Travel to sites and travel throughout MAFB as needed.
