Job summary

RSRPD is seeking a Facilities Attendant to handle setup and teardown of equipment for classes, events, and rentals, plus light cleanup and basic clerical tasks. The role requires standing for long periods and flexible hours as events occur.

Responsibilities include directing participants, monitoring rentals, answering phones, and maintaining records. A valid California driver's license and high school diploma or GED are required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of building maintenance or related experience.
• Basic understanding of cleaning methods and procedures; knowledge of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and follow them with good judgment.
• Ability to operate general office equipment and cleaning devices.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and breaking down rooms and maintaining cleanliness during events.
• Light cleaning of lobbies, restrooms, kitchens, gym, and other areas as needed.
• Monitor events and rentals and direct participants and vendors to rooms.
• Answer phones, greet the public, and respond to inquiries with courtesy.
• Maintain complete and accurate reports/records.
• Operate copier and computer and other office equipment.
• Open/close facility, unlock/lock doors, and operate alarm system.
• Minor building and equipment maintenance and repair.
