Walmart is seeking a Facilities Services Technician in Corpus Christi, TX. The role performs preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment, inspects and repairs assets, and coordinates with contractors to keep sites safe and compliant.

You will manage work orders, track maintenance schedules, and ensure proper documentation. The team supports multiple locations with a focus on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement, while offering comprehensive health, retirement, and education

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the FMCSA, in the last three (3) years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment while documenting wear, deficiencies, and maintenance activities.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Operate and inspect heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety procedures and certification requirements.
• Order parts, track purchases, submit warranty claims, and conduct price comparisons for cost efficiency.
• Maintain company vehicles, ensuring proper documentation and arranging necessary maintenance.
• Collaborate with teams to improve processes and support business priorities.
