Job summary

Qualifications

• Substitution of education for experience at the GS-05 grade level is allowed.
• Official transcripts may be required to verify education if substituted for experience.
• Transcripts must show college name and degree conferred; unofficial copies acceptable initially.

Responsibilities

• Helps the superintendent and craft supervisors complete work by using a software maintenance system.
• Ensures work order packages are fully completed.
• Enters basic job plans and labor hours for preventive maintenance tasks.
• Uses a government purchase card to make micro-purchases and completes FAR paperwork.
• Collects, enters, verifies, processes, and files time and attendance records.
• Gathers data and prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on generator run hours, outages, starts/stops, and plant availability.
• Enters and reviews employee training records.
