By raising hens outdoors as nature intended, we stay true to our roots every step of the way by keeping animal welfare, planet-friendly farming practices, and high-quality taste and nutrition at the heart of all we do, so you can always believe in what you buy.

At Pete & Gerry’s, we believe that when we care for each other, we all thrive. Across our farms, offices, and communities, we act as one flock — united by respect, collaboration, and a shared commitment to doing what’s right. We create an environment where every person feels valued, supported, and empowered to grow, because our success depends on the well‑being of the people who make our mission possible.

The Role At a Glance

The Facility Services Technician is at all times responsible for all work‑related activities in relation to the cleanliness of all restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, non‑process halls, offices, lunchrooms, common areas and laundry facilities. The Facility Services Technician must be prepared to balance their time, given the fluctuations in processing, to thoroughly follow all established procedures for effective food safety protection.

The Facility Services Technician must be prepared to change direction per customer or internal changes and/or requirements to satisfy processing needs. Any issue that could potentially compromise food or personnel safety must be approved and/or analyzed by the authorizing Manager before attending to that same situation.

How You’ll Create Greater Impact:

In this role, you’ll help deliver the highest quality product while upholding our unwavering commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You’ll act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.

  • Clean all restrooms
  • Launder, fold, and sort uniforms
  • Maintain cleaning supply inventory, as well as processing sanitary needs (gloves, hair nets)

  • Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiencies
  • Report any food safety issues to any manager
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures per safety training
  • Complete all daily sanitation logs
  • Put all cleaning supplies and tools away at the end of each shift
  • Assist co‑workers as needed
  • Comply with Food Safety and GMP requirements at all times
What You’ll Bring to the Flock:

We are one team — united by respect and a shared commitment to doing what’s right. What we do every day connects to something bigger. You’ll bring your experience, perspective, and pride in your work. We value collaboration, curiosity, and diverse viewpoints — because they make our flock stronger.
