Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Facility and Security Technology to support Global Security and Corporate Real Estate. The role covers system programming, service delivery, and enterprise project design across access control, video surveillance, and building automation.

You will interact with multiple teams, manage vendor relations, and drive continuous improvement while traveling up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
4+ years experience in related field, preferred
Strong IT background including servers, databases, networking and their relation to facility and security software such as Lenel’s OnGuard and JLL’s IntelliCommand
Proven track record in successfully providing programming and service support
Knowledge and experience in Lenel and Milestone preferred
Balance between business needs and security
Security knowledge in manufacturing and distribution
Ability to resolve problems and improve processes
High ethical standards
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Leverage best practices for complex processes
Customer focus and operational excellence
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong teamwork
MS Office 365 proficiency
Willing to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

Facility and Security System Programming - 30%: acts as in-house programming expert and supports field onboarding
Programming knowledge for access control, video surveillance, smart building, and visitor management
Support for AI-related projects and coordination with other departments
Maintains licenses, passwords, and SSL certificates
Facility and Security System Service - 40%: serves as in-house service expert; manage issues enterprise-wide
Engage vendors, monitor service calls, ensure compliance with MSAs, and maintain ServiceNow updates
Enterprise System Design and Roll Out - 20%: guidance on software rollout, server architectures, and IT coordination
Ensure IT/network/cybersecurity and regulatory standards alignment
Training - 10%: field training support as needed
Provide weekly service audits and status updates to regional managers
Adhere to service level expectations and drive process improvements
