Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a Security Electronics Technician to oversee all electronic systems for facility operations, including locking, fire alarm, intercom/PA, CCTV, nurse-call, and related controls. You will perform preventive maintenance, maintain CMMS records, and support client security requirements.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in commercial security electronics, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of security electronics experience in commercial environments preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures preventive maintenance schedules are executed on time per specs.
Perform administrative tasks: work orders and record keeping; learn facility layout.
Develop and maintain CMMS records, warranties, and inventory for parts.
Maintain professional client relationships and provide solutions during meetings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Inspect building security and electronic systems for proper operation.
Perform maintenance on smoke detectors and related control systems.
Ensure all work complies with OSHA codes and client standards.
