Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Facility Security Officer to oversee security and compliance of our facilities, aligning with government regulations and company policies.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will manage clearance processes, visitor control, security training, incident response, audits, and vendor security to safeguard people, property, and data across Convergint's U.S. sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Active security clearance and FSO certification required.
• Strong knowledge of security regulations (NISPOM, FISMA, NIST).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with security systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer security clearance processes (applications, re-investigations, upgrades).
• Oversee visitor control procedures and authorization verifications.
