Job summary

A staffing and recruiting firm is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure the protection of personnel and sensitive information. The ideal candidate will administer compliance with federal regulations, manage security clearances, and oversee access control protocols. Must have U.S. citizenship and hold an active security clearance, with responsibilities including developing training programs and acting as liaison during emergencies. This is a contract position for 6-12 months that may lead to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Completion of DCSA FSO curricula is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer the security program per NISPOM and federal regulations.
• Process security clearances through government databases.
• Manage facility entry protocols and monitor CCTV systems.
• Develop and conduct security training programs.
• Oversee classified information marking and destruction.
• Conduct self-inspections and manage audits.
• Act as contact for law enforcement during incidents.
