Position Overview

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) for our Annapolis Junction, MD location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-5 years' experience as an FSO or with the DCSA and other government agencies.
• Current FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
• Experience with NISS, DISS, and NBIS accounts for personnel security and clearance management.
• Must hold a Top Secret security clearance and obtain SCI access within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of applicable federal laws, executive orders, directives, and regulations, including CFR 32, Rule 5305, and Executive Orders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to security issues.
• Proficient knowledge of NISPOM and NSA COMSEC 90-1 Manual.

Additional Information

Target salary range: USD $102,603 - $108,000 per year, based on experience and location. The position remains open until filled.
