Job summary

Magnet Forensics is seeking a highly organized Facilities Security Officer (FSO) in Chantilly, VA to lead and maintain government security clearance programs, including Facility Clearance (FCL) and personnel security clearance.

You will ensure compliance with FOCI, collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR and other teams, and support government reporting and audits. Travel is minimal, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required to fulfill this critical role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in security-related field.
• Experience administering U.S. Government facility security clearance and personnel security clearance programs.
• Strong knowledge of FOCI regulations and NISP requirements.
• Experience supporting security compliance programs, audits, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility clearance administration and government security matters.
• Maintain Facility Clearance and manage compliance activities, reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, self-assessments and security reviews.
• Monitor ownership and governance changes affecting clearance eligibility.
• Support FOCI compliance, mitigation, reporting, and related filings.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, and Corporate Development on FOCI implications.
• Develop and maintain security policies and records for classified operations.
