Job summary

Hutchinson seeks an experienced security professional to manage DoD Confidential clearance programs and ensure compliance with NISPOM and related policies. The role requires interpretation of security requirements, and the ability to lead OPSEC initiatives across operations.

Responsibilities include conducting security briefings and incident inquiries, managing OPSEC plans, and coordinating TCP for foreign visitors while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• May consider additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification or CDSE certifications, such as Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Industrial Security Oversight Certification (ISOC).
• Experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.
• Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Experience conducting Security incident inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement OPSEC plans and security programs.
• Conduct security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post briefings.
• Coordinate foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings.
• Assist in executing the Technology Control Plan (TCP) for foreign visitors and other FOCI mitigation documents.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on security policies and procedures.

Job description

• Candidate must be able to get Department of Defense Confidential clearance.
• Thorough working knowledge of 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM Rule).
• Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and conflicting customer requirements.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated.
• Commitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers.
• Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations.
• Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Open Storage Areas. Along with working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254’s, and other required forms.
• Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eAPP, NISS, and NBIS.
• Experience building or operating an insider threat program.
• Experience in creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post.
• Foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.
• Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program.
• Assist in executing the requirements outlined in the Technology Control Plan (TCP) for foreign visitors and other FOCI mitigation documents.
• Communicates with parties within and outside of own area, which may include external constituents depending upon the area. Requires the ability to provide guidance to other organizations on policies, practices, and procedures.
