Position Summary

RBCI is seeking a 1099 contract position for a Facility Security Officer. A FSO is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with the Industrial Security procedures in accordance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM). An FSO will oversee and manage the security program for the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

The essential and specific functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Must obtain and maintain credentials for a non-possessing facility (i.e., TS FCL, Industrial Base Clearance, CMMC/CUI Management).
• Ensures compliance with company and government requirements.
• Manages DISS (formerly JPAS), Visit Requests, personnel security inquiries and e-QIP initiations.
• Updates DCSA databases including DISS and NISS as required.
• Provides prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's, and security guidance.
• Maintains program documentation for DCSA assessments and passes security audits.
• Develops and revises security plans, procedures, instructions, and educational material and conducts employee training to ensure security plan effectiveness and compliance.
• Liaison with customer and subcontractor security offices on security issues.
• Prepare and execute TASS Application Registration Request for CAC processing.
• Process Onboarding Packages for Public Trust suitability.
• Assist staff with completion and submittal of SF85s, SF86s, and SCI nominations.
• Investigates security violations and prepares reports for DCSA and agency to include preventive actions.
• Appointment letters
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree
• US. Citizenship and an active DOD Top Secret.
• Must possess FSO certification.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a similar profession.
• Computer Literacy Skills: Intermediate knowledge of office practices, procedures, and use of office equipment.
• Knowledge of computers; specifically experience in Microsoft office is preferable.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and pay strong attention to detail to ensure security protocols are followed.
• Excellent problem solving and people skills also required.
• Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
