Qualifications

  • You must obtain Advanced Safety Certification from the National Safety Council within five years.
  • You must obtain and maintain a Radiological Safety Officer Certification upon hire.
  • You must obtain and maintain a Lead Renovator Certification upon hire.
  • You must obtain and maintain an Asbestos Supervisor and Building Inspector Certification upon hire.
  • Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
  • You must be a trained firefighter.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • You must pass a background investigation and meet CJIS compliance requirements.

The Position

This position places you at the center of critical fire safety programs, sanitation efforts, inspections, and emergency response planning. Description of Work

This position ensures the safety, health, and environmental standards of SCI Dallas through inspections, training, documentation, and emergency preparedness. It combines planning, coordination, and hands-on oversight to maintain compliance and safeguard the facility. As a Facility Safety Manager, you will perform the following duties:

  • Safety Reporting: Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspection reports
  • Fire Drill Management: Conduct fire drills, maintain schedules, and track accreditation records

Work Schedule and Additional Information
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $60,538.00 (before taxes).
