Job description

Shearwater Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Facility/Safety Manager to join our team in Lee's Summit, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment.
2. Participate in the development of policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies and facilities.
3. Ensure that all equipment and facilities are functioning properly.
4. Initiate interventions to solve problems.
5. Oversee cleaning, repair, and maintenance of contractor equipment.
6. Implement safety measures and campaigns.
7. Evaluate the work quality of staff and subordinates.
8. Assist in preparing company facilities maintenance budgets.
9. Coordinate and communicate with upper management on work issues.

Position Requirements:

1. U.S. Citizen
2. Valid U.S. Driver’s License
3. Active Secret Clearance
4. Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
5. Prior experience in warehouse, security, policy, military, facilities, or related work preferred but not required.
6. Must possess OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health Certification.
7. Demonstrated experience in:

• Preparing statistical and analytical reports
• Passing a drug test
• Passing a background check including credit, criminal, and DMV
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Computer literacy
