Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks an Operations Facility Protection Supervisor to lead the security and fire protection teams, ensure shift readiness, and oversee contractor operations, rosters, training, inspections, and reporting.

The role requires strong incident command, ICS/NIMS, leadership under pressure, and coordination with firefighting and law enforcement to deliver safe and compliant protection services across the installation.

Qualifications

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education in fire suppression operations, including supervisory or command duties

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees who provide physical security and fire protection to safeguard personnel and property.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate activities of patrol cars, emergency firefighting equipment, radar, closed-circuit TV, and communications systems.
• Establish regular security inspections and coordinate with firefighting and civil law-enforcement agencies.
