Job summary

TA Travel Center in Rock Springs, WY is seeking Porters to join our team. You will help keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff, performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms and floors, assisting with event setup, monitoring supplies, and reporting issues to maintenance. A high school diploma is preferred; prior custodial experience helps but is not required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with flexible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial/cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize public restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events and meetings.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when restocking is needed.
• Support minor maintenance tasks and report issues to maintenance.
• Engage with guests and staff to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
