Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Journeyman Plumber (USA) to maintain plumbing systems across facilities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with management while following safety and quality standards. The role includes managing work orders and on-call responsiveness to support a safe, efficient environment for associates and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• 2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
• Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
• License in related trade in city/state of work.
• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program (preferred).
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems and related facility equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Inspect, diagnose, and document facility conditions, identifying repair and replacement needs to prevent future issues.
• Utilize blueprints, repair manuals, and tools to dismantle, repair, and reassemble plumbing components and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and parts procurement while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory standards, promoting a safe and compliant work environment.
