Tradebe Environmental Services in Meriden, CT is seeking a hands-on Facility Plant Worker to support wastewater treatment operations and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

The role involves sampling drums, organizing materials, cleaning tanks, and performing confined space entries while adhering to safety and PPE requirements. A high school diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs alone or more with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable with physical tasks like walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Sample and process drums safely and efficiently
• Organize and stage materials in proper storage areas
• Clean tanks, perform confined space entries, and maintain facility equipment
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure compliance
• Assist with receiving and storing containers properly
• Other duties as assigned
