Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is seeking a Facility Plant Worker in Meriden, CT. This role involves hands-on work at our wastewater treatment facility, focusing on safety and efficient operations.

You will be part of a team maintaining environmental assets and contributing to a sustainable plan. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, physical fitness for lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs alone or more with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable with physical tasks like walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Sample and process drums safely and efficiently.
• Organize and stage materials in proper storage areas.
• Clean tanks, perform confined space entries, and maintain facility equipment.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure compliance.
• Assist with receiving and storing containers properly.

Nice to have: Forklift experience, confined space training, OSHA HAZWOPER certification, and familiarity with hazardous waste handling.
