Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking Plant Operator I–V to perform maintenance and provide non-clinical support across all SRHS facilities at Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital. Responsibilities include supporting patients, guests, and staff, and ensuring safe, reliable building systems.

Positions range from Operator I through V, with progression based on experience. Travel within the SRHS service area and rotating shifts are required; a valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification preferred for electricians, HVAC technicians, and plumbers.
• Experience ranges by level: I (0–2 years), II (2–4), III (4–6), IV (6+), V (6+ with 1 year as IV).

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance duties for non-clinical equipment and facilities.
• Provides general support to patients, guests, and staff.
• Trains Plant Operator V and supports junior operators.
• Rotating shifts and travel within the SRHS service area.
