Job summary

Upchurch Companies is seeking a Facility Performance Engineer to manage long-term facility service agreements, coordinating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation across multiple locations in the southeastern United States.

You will oversee budgets, forecasts, cash-flow, invoicing, and performance analytics while liaising with technicians, vendors, and internal teams to improve reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, building science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in HVAC, facility operations, mechanical construction, building automation, energy services, or technical project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related business applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance of assigned facility service agreements.
• Develop budgets, cost forecasts, cash-flow projections, and profitability reports.
• Coordinate HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and other facility issues across locations.
• Review analytics, alarms, service records, and equipment history to determine appropriate responses.
• Prepare and present customer-facing reports on facility performance and planned activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy performance and contract profitability.
