Job summary

SECURE is hiring a Facility Operator for our Keene facility in North Dakota. You will oversee safe, efficient daily operations of waste treatment, oil treatment and water injection on a 12-hour shift, 7 days on/7 days off, alternating days and nights.

The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, hazard assessments and environmental protection. We offer competitive wages starting at $28.15+ per hour, with eligible allowances and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Operational experience in waste processing, oil treating or water injection is a strong asset.
• Specialty training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loaders is considered an asset.
• Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG
• A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment
• Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders
• Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices
• A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing

Responsibilities

• Operate the facility day-to-day safely and efficiently.
• Unload trucks and manage oil emulsion, water, and vac trucks.
• Treat tanks and process waste streams.
• Support waste processing, tank operations, shaker/centrifuge and solids treatment.
• Handle receipt, storage and transport of crude oil per compliance.
• Manage ongoing water injection, filter changes and pump maintenance.
• Maintain boiler operations and steam systems.
• Ensure compliance programs are followed.
• Submit truck tickets, daily plant checks, and transfers to the office.
• Support Health & Safety Management System (HSMS).
• Waste plant operation and solids testing to meet landfill criteria.
• Follow water injection SOPs and best practices to protect disposal well integrity.
• Maintain a clean and safe plant environment

The wage for this role starts at $28.15+, with eligibility for additional allowances. Work Environment This position is a 12-hour shift with 7 days on and 7 days off , alternating between days and nights.

A Day in The Life

• Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility
• Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water & vac trucks
• Responsible for tank treating and processing waste streams
• Participating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker & centrifuge operations and solids treating
• Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement & Crude Oil Quality compliance
• Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance
• Conducting treatment of solids on the waste pad
• Conducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations
• Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to
• Submitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office
• Participates in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)
• Waste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)
• Following water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity
• General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe
