Job summary

SECURE, a waste management and energy infrastructure leader, seeks an Account Manager for the Casper, Wyoming area. This full-time role focuses on growing our Specialty Chemicals business by identifying cost-effective, customer-driven solutions and defining opportunities for the SECURE Specialty Chemicals line.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Experience in oilfield operations is considered an asset.
  • Previous chemical sales experience is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites as needed.
  • Adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare technical reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of production processes practiced in Canada is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for maximizing the account's profitability while creating, implementing, and managing an account plan in conjunction with the business plan.
  • Maintain inventory levels, ordering and delivering products to site as required.
  • Source business opportunities.
  • Continually assess customer service levels to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.
  • Meet with customers and potential customers to execute sales personally and build strong client relationships.
  • Institute programs to identify potential customers and perform cold sales calls.
  • Proactively determine current and future customer needs.
  • Continually learn new information and develop strategies.
  • Provide weekly updates to sales, operations and technical departments about customer activity, plans and future business.
  • Use basic lab equipment to test and qualify products for field programs.
  • Support community relations initiatives.

Your Opportunity at SECURE

As our Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing our business by identifying and evaluating cost-effective customer-driven solutions. This individual will help define key business opportunities for the SECURE Specialty Chemicals business line.

This role will support the Casper, Wyoming area.

The Team

The Specialty Chemical group comprises dedicated professionals who excel in one-on-one sales engagements. The team is adept at problem-solving and is strongly committed to customer satisfaction. Each member embodies a strong work ethic and a proactive "get up and work" mentality, ensuring unparalleled service delivery and customer support.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position supporting the surrounding areas of Casper, Wyoming. Please note this position is based in Casper and requires relocation if you do not live in the area. It is not a fly-in-fly-out or short rotation assignment.

A Day in The Life

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop strategies for maximizing the account's profitability while creating, implementing, and managing an account plan in conjunction with the business plan.

  • Providing weekly updates to sales, operations and technical departments about customer activity, plans and future business.
  • Use of basic lab equipment to test and qualify products to be used in field programs.
  • Community relations
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • A High School diploma or General Education Diploma is required; additional post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Experience in oilfield operations is considered an asset.
  • Previous Chemical Sales experience is considered an asset.
