Air National Guard Units in the United States is seeking a SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-1640-11, within the 108th CE. The role focuses on supervising personnel, planning and programming, and ensuring the reliability of real property facilities for ANG organizations.

The incumbent will lead operation and maintenance programs, manage budgets and funding inputs, and serve as a primary consultant to the unit commander on CE financial issues.

Qualifications

• Quality of Experience - Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed.
• Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in fields listed below leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management: Incumbent typically supervises the following personnel and their functions: Plans and Programming.
• Sustained reliability of Real Property Facilities in support of ANG organizations.
• Planning and directing of comprehensive programs for the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of Government facilities for the wing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) programs.
• Functions as Civil Engineer Federal Resource Advisor and primary representative to the Base Financial Working Group (FWG).
• Supervises and directs the formulation, integration and advocacy of organizational financial budgets and provides inputs to support PPBS issues.

Education

Education - Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration.
