Overview

The Air Force constructs and maintains thousands of facilities around the world. Operations Management specialists manage projects from start to finish, ensuring schedules are met, materials are available and budgets are adhered to. These experts coordinate details with engineers, civilian contractors and other vendors to ensure the job gets done right.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the operation of command and control systems and customer focal points
  • Develop, monitor and manage work order priority program
  • Monitor work costs to ensure compliance with legal limits or support agreements
  • Manage and ensure a continuous workflow
  • Ensure all environmental concerns are being addressed

Qualifications

This is a position as an Officer in the Air National Guard. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be 17–42 years of age, a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score of 44
  • High school students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year
  • Applicants who are non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must obtain an AFQT Test score of 65
  • Ability to speak clearly, concisely and distinctly
  • Possession of a valid state driver’s license to operate government vehicles
  • Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
