The role covers asset management, project oversight, and safety compliance in support of resource preservation and daily operations. The position requires coordinating budgets, managing facilities software, and leading staff while adhering to federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must provide transcripts if education is used to qualify.
• US citizenship required and background investigation.
• Selective Service registration for certain genders.
• Must obtain a government travel charge card and driver’s license.
• Selective emphasis on time-in-grade rules and federal service guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as facility management expert to support park unit management initiatives.
• Implement Facility Management Software and maintain asset inventories and condition assessments for cost-effective planning.
• Determine project scope, goals and alternatives for facility modifications when infrastructure cannot support mission.
• Implement safety and training programs to reduce at-risk behaviors and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
• Prepare annual work budgets and participate in OFS requests; manage operating funds.
• Support environmental/cultural compliance and sustainable operations; coordinate with stakeholders on proposals.
• Perform supervisory duties over assigned staff.
