Job summary

ABM Industries in Anaheim is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day janitorial and facility operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction. The role requires 1-3 years in facilities/operations management, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facility, janitorial, or operations management
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
• Experience overseeing daily operations, staffing, and service delivery
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience interacting with clients, vendors, and leadership teams
• Knowledge of service industry practices and trends

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with contractual and financial goals.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, from property management to senior executives, ensuring satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.
• Oversee budget preparation, financial reporting, and cost control initiatives to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
• Conduct regular building inspections to assess cleanliness, equipment condition, and safety compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced services to meet performance expectations.
• Supervise payroll processes, inventory management, and procurement of supplies and consumables.
• Ensure proper onboarding, training, and performance management of staff, including safety training.
• Prepare and present professional reports, proposals, and incident documentation to stakeholders.
• Support new business development by identifying opportunities for service expansion and operational improvements.
• Maintain accurate work order tracking and ensure timely completion of out-of-scope projects and client requests.
• Project manager will ensure that employees have proper uniforms and PPE.
• Prepare and submit incidents/injury reports as needed.
• Will open Corrigo work orders for additional work.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
