Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Facilities Department and oversee base building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance. You will coordinate installation, repair, maintenance, safety plans, and documentation to ensure safe and compliant operations across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• Experience adequate for Operations Manager role at a facility.
• 5+ years progressive operations experience.
• Strong employee relations, coaching and training skills.
• Highest level license for stationary engineers and/or HVAC with refrigerant recovery
• Strong oral and written communication with customer service focus.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Computer skills and building automation systems experience required.
• OSHA ACM awareness training certification as required.
• Working knowledge of energy conservation; formal training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the Facilities Department for base building functions.
• Manage installation, repair, maintenance and documentation of systems and equipment.
• Implement and document site safety plans and training.
• Conduct regular site inspections and QA on work by staff and vendors.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets and ensure expenditures stay within budget.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and manage vendor contracts.
• Lead and develop engineering staff; ensure compliance with ABM standards.
