Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 100% on-site work with only situational telework approval.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance.
• Males must be registered for Selective Service.

Responsibilities

• Embedded facility sustainment engineering for 29+ buildings supporting R&D operations.
• Perform analyses and evaluations of mechanical systems and facility support equipment.
• Consult with scientists and engineers on facility engineering and project management.
• Design and checkout of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• Provide technical direction to resolve field-related issues and improve reliability.
• Prepare long and short-range plans for R&D support facilities and out-year budgets.
