Job summary

New Beginnings Residential T.F. is seeking a Youth Facility Manager / Direct Care Staff for a part-time role in Perris, CA.

The position includes front-end shifts with Sunday 9am–9pm, Monday and Tuesday 2pm–10pm, and Wednesday TBD, requiring supervision and direct care for youth in a residential setting. Qualified candidates meet one of four criteria, including prior full-time or volunteer work in group homes, life experience in child welfare or related fields, or a BA/BS or ECE/Psychology

Qualifications

• Experience in child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice settings is valued.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree required or relevant life experience.
• Completed coursework in Early Childhood Education or Psychology considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision during front-end shifts.
• Work with youth and staff to implement program activities and safety procedures.

Youth Facility Manager / Direct Care Staff shall meet one of the following qualifications

• 1. Previously been employed as a full-time staff or served as a volunteer at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year or
• 2. Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, caregiver, or other relevant experience as determined by the department or
• 3. Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree or
• 4. Completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education or Psychology

Part-Time position.

Days and hours of the Front-End Shift include:

• Sunday 9am - 9pm
• Monday 2pm - 10pm
• Tuesday 2pm - 10pm
• Wednesday - TBD
