Job summary

New Beginnings Residential T.F. in California is seeking a Youth Facility Manager / Direct Care Staff for part-time evening shifts. The role requires experience in group homes or relevant life experience in child welfare or mental health, or a degree and child development coursework.

Shifts include Wednesday 2pm-10pm, Thursday 2pm-10pm, Friday 2pm-10pm, and Saturday 9am-9:15pm. Benefits include PTO, wellness resources, 401(k) matching, free food & snacks, and free uniforms.

Qualifications

• Employed as full-time staff or volunteer at a group home or similar program for at least one year.
• Relevant life experience in child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree.

Youth Facility Manager / Direct Care Staff shall meet one of the following qualifications

1. Previously been employed as a full-time staff or served as a volunteer at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year or

2. Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, caregiver, or other relevant experience as determined by the department or

3. Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree or

4. Completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education or Psychology

Part-Time. Back-End Shift days and hours to include:

Wednesday 2pm-10pm

Thursday 2pm-10pm

Friday 2pm-10pm

Saturday 9am - 9:15pm
