Job summary

The Navy's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department at Naval Station Everett seeks an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and utilization of fitness, aquatic, and athletic facilities across multiple sites. Responsibilities include coordination with Public Works, budget planning, and staff supervision to ensure high-quality service to service members and families.

Bachelor's degree in Recreation management or related field is desired.
Three years of specialized experience in recreation programming or facility management may substitute for the degree.
Knowledge of managing sports, fitness, and aquatics facilities and programs at multiple locations.
Ability to plan, implement, and monitor complex facility programs and budgets.

Responsibilities

Oversees operation and maintenance of multiple fitness, aquatic, and athletic facilities and grounds.
Coordinates design criteria, planning, construction progress, and maintenance for SFA facilities.
Manages staff, scheduling, performance evaluations, and payroll considerations for facility personnel.
Develops budget estimates, tracks expenditures, and liaises with Public Works and Health/Safety offices.
Schedules fire drills, coordinates with contractors, and maintains facility records and utilization data.
