H MART Johns Creek is seeking a Facility Management Technician to maintain and improve the physical integrity, safety, and efficiency of our Johns Creek store facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and coordinate with HQ facilities to keep equipment running smoothly.

This hands-on role requires strong problem solving, safety compliance, and the ability to document work, manage supplies, and respond to on-site emergencies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with HQ facility management and staff regarding maintenance and repair updates.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues promptly.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain records of equipment servicing.
• Recommend equipment upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and address hazards promptly.
• Act as a first responder during facility emergencies and coordinate evacuations as needed.
• Place orders for necessary supplies and equipment.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including work completed, pending tasks, and budget utilization.

Description

The Facility Management Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity, safety, and operational efficiency of H Mart facilities. This hands-on role combines skilled technical work—performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems with essential operational support and emergency response. Acting as the primary technical contact on-site, the technician liaises directly with HQ Facility Management, leads emergency response efforts, conducts regular safety audits, and manages the inventory and documentation needed to keep all facility equipment running smoothly.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Communicate effectively with HQ facility management and staff regarding maintenance and repair updates
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues promptly
• Simply document maintenance activities and maintain records of equipment servicing
• Recommend equipment upgrades or replacements as needed
• Conduct safety inspections and address any identified hazards promptly
• Act as a first responder during facility emergencies, such as power outages, water leaks, or security breaches
• Coordinate evacuation procedures and liaise with emergency services when necessary
• Place orders for necessary supplies and equipment
• Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, including work completed, pending tasks, and budget utilization

Qualifications/Skills:

• BS/BA in Management or Accounting,Manufacturing EngineeringMajor or related field
• Driver’s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant trade licenses preferred.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
