Peraton is hiring a Facility Management Service Delivery Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources. The ideal candidate must be based in Austin, TX or San Angelo, TX, and will cover both the Austin Data Center and San Angelo Data Center.

The role includes accountability for CDCs, physical security, environmental controls, power optimization, and infrastructure upgrades. The position requires travel between Austin and San Angelo, regular site coordination, and management of

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience; may have supervisory or lead experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise-scale data center facilities management experience.
• Experience with managing critical data center facilities and infrastructure.
• Experience with Uptime Institute Tier II or Tier II+ facility management.
• Strong expertise in critical power systems (UPS, diesel generators, PDUs, power distribution, dual-feed power).
• Experience managing CRAC/HVAC cooling systems.
• Experience with multi-site facilities management and infrastructure upgrades.
• Strong vendor, contractor, project, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between Austin and San Angelo, ~3 hours apart.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for physical operations at both ADC and SDC.
• Manage physical security compliance at both Consolidated Data Centers.
• Oversee environmental control systems including HVAC and CRAC cooling.
• Manage critical power systems (UPS, generators, PDUs, power distribution, dual-feed).
• Lead power optimization initiatives and utility cost management.
• Coordinate generator testing on weekly, monthly, and annual schedules.
• Oversee future CDC construction projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage the Austin Data Center lease through the contract term.
• Coordinate with Angelo State University per Texas Government Code §2054.382.
• Coordinate facilities operations and security across both sites.

This position must cover BOTH the Austin Data Center and San Angelo Data Center.The Facility Management Service Delivery Manager will have overall accountability forCDC and in-scope facility Services.This includes, but is not limited to,physical security compliance, environmental controls, power optimization, utility cost management, and future CDC construction projects and infrastructure upgrades.This is amulti-site facilities leadership positionrequiring responsibility for both theAustin Data Center (ADC)andSan Angelo Data Center (SDC).

Critical Location Requirement:

The successful candidate must be based in the applicable Texas area and have thewillingness and ability to regularly travel between Austin and San Angelo, which are approximately3 hours apart.

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX metropolitan area or San Angelo, TX, as applicable.

Candidates must be able to support both facilities as required.

• Manage theAustin Data Center lease through the contract term.
• CoordinateSan Angelo Data Center activities with Angelo State Universityin accordance withTexas Government Code §2054.382.
