Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a reliable Facilities Associate to support daily maintenance and facilities operations across multiple Phoenix locations. This 100% onsite role involves travel between local facilities and hands-on maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC/plumbing/electrical/mechanical issues, coordinating with vendors, and managing work orders in CMMS. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in related fields and are comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in facilities/building/handyman roles.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics preferred.
• Experience coordinating with vendors/contractors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with building maintenance, apartment maintenance, commercial maintenance, or handyman experience who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment.

This position is 100% onsite and includes travel between local facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs

Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building issues

Complete handyman and maintenance duties as needed

Coordinate with vendors and contractors onsite

Track and update work orders through CMMS systems

Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment

Support office and facility improvement projects

Assist with physical security and general facility operations

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, apartment maintenance, commercial maintenance, or handyman experience

Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

Ability to troubleshoot building and maintenance issues independently

Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings preferred

Experience working with vendors and contractors

Reliable transportation

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA or workplace safety training

CMMS or work order system experience

Experience supporting office or healthcare facilities

Strong customer service and communication skills

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Pay: $24–$30/hr DOE
