Job summary

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center in Duluth, MN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to perform facility inspections, schedule and supervise maintenance work, and oversee contractors to ensure timely completion. The role requires vigilance for safety standards and records management.

Full-time position with on-call duties every other weekend and a wage of $19.00 per hour. Strong computer skills and a high school diploma are required; boiler license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Boiler License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspections of the facility for safety, upkeep, appearance and equipment performance.
• Schedule and ensure completion of all maintenance and repairs.
• Provide oversight of maintenance/repairs and ensure contracted services are completed timely.
• Maintain records of repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties and inspections.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with State/Federal and OSHA standards.
• Must be able to be on-call for emergency situations.
