Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, staff and the general public.
• Maintain care and use of supplies and maintain maintenance work areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow maintenance schedules and report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services during routine tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems as directed.
• Assist with cleaning, light bulb replacement, and general upkeep tasks.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and follow safety precautions.
