Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a General Maintenance Worker (Maintenance Technician II) to provide facility, equipment, and infrastructure maintenance support in a government environment at NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field, St. Inigoes, Maryland.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and masonry with an emphasis on safety and reliability. The ideal candidate will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and support

Qualifications

Minimum of two to three years experience in facility maintenance or related field.
Working knowledge of multiple trades (at least three) such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry or mechanical repair.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals, work instructions, and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and building systems.
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues, including receptacles, switches, wiring, and lights.
Perform basic plumbing repairs such as sinks, toilets, and fixtures maintenance and replacement.
Carpentry tasks like repairing walls, installing doors, and replacing damaged paneling.
Patch, repair, and finish drywall and ceilings; paint interior and exterior surfaces.
