Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks across the warehouse, including battery and charger maintenance, electricity, plumbing, and carpentry.

You will oversee the battery changing process and operate warehouse equipment, ensuring machinery and safety gear meet OSHA standards. Responsibilities emphasize equipment upkeep, safety, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Mathematical calculation and documentation skills.
• Basic computer skills including email, internet searches, and data entry.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair batteries and chargers in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Facilitate and manage the battery changing process within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery chargers as needed.
• Clean and lubricate machinery parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Test safety equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
