Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks across the warehouse, including battery and charger upkeep, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. You will manage the battery changing process, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure machinery and safety gear comply with OSHA standards.

Candidates should have basic mechanical knowledge, math and documentation skills, and basic computer skills (email, internet searches, data entry).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Mathematical calculation and documentation skills.
• Basic computer skills including email, internet searches, and data entry.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair batteries and chargers in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Facilitate and manage the battery changing process within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery chargers as needed.
• Clean and lubricate machinery parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good working condition.
• Test safety equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Participate in HAZMAT responder training as required.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
