Job summary

ThedaCare Medical Center - Shawano in Shawano, Wisconsin is seeking a Facilities Technician I to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems. You will respond to facility needs, inspect equipment, order parts, and attend trainings to maintain qualifications.

The role requires a high school diploma and 18+, with prior maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year of technical/trade school training or one year of experience in maintenance or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely and effective response to unanticipated facility needs to maintain safety and avoid interruption of service.
• Inspects buildings, systems, components, and other structures to determine functional status of the equipment.
• Detects malfunctions and recommends actions within a maintenance program.
• Orders parts and maintains required documents.
• Attends training sessions to achieve and maintain qualifications.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, power plant, and general building systems.
