Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician for Facility Services General Maintenance in Austin, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect and repair facilities and equipment, and manage work orders and contractors to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include documenting activities, ordering parts, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while upholding Walmart standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include vocational or technical certification or equivalent experience.
• 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, or related area or 4 years' experience as alternative.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI/DWI within 5 years and limited moving violations.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years while operating a commercial vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment; document activities.
• Manage work orders, schedules, and contractors; track parts and expenses.
• Comply with OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart safety and quality standards.
