Job summary

The technician will perform preventative maintenance, handle minor repairs, assist with event setups, and support emergency responses as needed, with a flexible schedule that includes weekends and major holidays.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with general knowledge of building systems.
• Experience in maintenance or related trades (4–5 years preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and extended walking.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and major holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure proper operation of building equipment.
• Handle minor repairs to plumbing, electrical fixtures, doors, locks, and general hardware.
• Monitor HVAC filter replacement.
• Complete light painting, patching, and general facility upkeep.
• Support with room setups, trash removal, and grounds care (snow, leaves, watering).
• Assist with deliveries.
• Participate in emergency response procedures (Fire Drills).
