Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
• No serious traffic violations under FMCSA in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance following schedules and guidelines.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Observes and documents signs of wear and tear.
• Gathers capital expense information.
• Recommends repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
• Determines replacement needs.
• Documents preventive maintenance activities.
• Uses heavy machinery.
• Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors.
• Orders parts and replacement equipment and tracking orders.
• Records purchases and usage.
• Submits warranty claims.
• Complies with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Ensures work complies with regulations and Walmart standards.
• Loads and transports equipment between facilities.
