Job summary

kdc/one Columbus is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing and building systems, and perform welding, carpentry, and other facility repairs.

This role supports a fast-paced, climate-controlled production environment and requires a strong work ethic. We offer first and third shift options (First: 6:00am–2:30pm; Third: 10:00pm–6:30am) with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Skills in electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards; GMP knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing and building systems.
• Carry out welding, soldering, carpentry and general repairs.
• Read procedures and work instructions to complete jobs safely.
• Operate tools and powered equipment; maintain parts records.

Shift: First Shift - Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Third Shift- 10:00pm-6:30am

Pay range: $25-29/hour based on experience; 11 paid days off annually; 80 hours of paid time off yearly; matching 401k after 30 days and potential annual bonus!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keep facility equipment running smoothly through routine inspections and preventive maintenance

• Operate tools and powered industrial equipment like a pro
• Order parts and keep maintenance records up to date

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Skills in things such as electrical work, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and good manufacturing practices (bonus!)
• A strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and positive attitude
