Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Bedford, OH to perform a wide range of skilled maintenance duties ensuring safe, reliable operation of facility equipment. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility support while maintaining high safety standards and compliance.

Responsibilities include installation, repair, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency response.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical background in facility maintenance.
PC literacy for email and word processing.
Ability to operate a forklift and material handling equipment.
Self-motivated with good initiative and communication.
Ability to work with suppliers and contractors when needed.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance on plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and facility equipment.
Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics; use testing equipment like multimeters.
Maintain HVAC systems, air compressors, and air dryers; operate forklifts and lifts.
Complete preventative maintenance and work orders; respond to emergencies.
Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout; ensure compliance.
Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and utility connections.
