Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain and upgrade building infrastructure across sites.

You will perform general maintenance, repairs and preventive inspections, collaborate with other technicians, and manage tools and work requests with a focus on safety and quality. The role emphasizes hands-on use of electrical, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping skills, with opportunities for ongoing training through U-Haul University and

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U‑Haul).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
