Adecco Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Chester, VT to recruit an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This is a 1st Shift opportunity, Monday – Friday, with pay of $24.00 – $32.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, production, or related environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, or production equipment is a plus.
• Welding, fabrication, or PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift

Pay Details

$24.00 to $32.00 per hour
