Job summary

Freeway Chevrolet is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep our Chandler dealership safe, clean, and operating efficiently. In this hands-on role, you'll perform routine building maintenance and repairs across the service department, showroom, and office areas.

We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving problems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general building maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience required.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, repair techniques, and hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
• Maintain clean, safe, and functional service areas, showrooms, offices, and dealership facilities
• Complete minor cosmetic repairs, including drywall patching and paint touch-ups
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests
• Maintain organization and inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies
• Identify and report maintenance issues requiring additional repairs or vendor support
• Perform indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks as needed to support daily dealership operations
